With a regular Gyrotonic practice, you are exercising on a deeper level. The specialised equipment offers both support and resistance to encourage fluid, flowing movement. This enables you to find a new and more controlled way of moving. Consequently, this movement method tones the tissue in and around the joints which provides a deep internal strength that promotes longevity and injury prevention.
We give special attention to the mobility of the spine and maintaining correct posture. Throughout a Gyrotonic workout you will be lengthening and decompressing the spine, creating space between every vertebra. This means reversing the effects that gravity has on our body as well as breaking through repeated negative posture patterns.
